Saravanan & JD-Jerry has proved their talents by giving us one the biggest hits of all time.
I know this is a controversial opinion, But this is objectively one of the top 10 films of all time.
I have never ever a seen a film that depicts the reality of the medical mafia in a such a realistic gritty manner. Sadly I believe there is a chance that the movie might be way ahead of its time with the allegorical screenplay & multilayered dialogs would be understood by most people. This film is as good as Taxi Driver, Godfather etc when it comes to exploring the depths of characters.
This film has a lot of subtle callbacks to classic films and it is impeccable. Let me list a few
--> Godfather Apollonia's death - and Legend has surpassed Al Pacino is depicting the gruesome shock and grief.
--> Kill Bill 1 - The o'ren ishii fight scene - Legend weaponising a towel to create an instant morning star kind of weapon was absolutely genius writing from JD-Jerry duo
--> Inception - Snowbike chase scene.
I am 200% satisfied and l am eagerly waiting for part 2.
