Telling Lies (2019 Video Game)
3/10
Confusing and seemingly pointless

Warning: Spoilers
Telling Lies at first was a very interesting concept. In the beginning it was fun and the lack of understanding made you want to play more. But after hours of playing the game, the story concludes and it's still unclear what exactly went down. The main protagonist David, was a man trying to do the right thing and instead of being praised for it, everyone he knew and loved didn't care about the sacrifices he made His wife, Emma, was not a good person and once David was gone she erased him from their daughters (Alba) life. Painting him as the bad guy. She never truly was supportive.

Maxine, honestly she's the only character I enjoyed watching. She was interesting and said more than anyone realizes. Though it's not quite clear why she shot him.

Ava, was head over heels for David and yes he did lie about who he was (he was an undercover) he did love her and wanted to be apart of their daughters life Star/Jane she painted him as the bad guy and Star/Jane wanted nothing to do with him.

The game is confusing, no matter how much you play. You put two and two together and suddenly 5 other pieces fall on your face. You go through all this video and learn honestly nothing about why the MC (computer girl) is really doing this. You go through all of this work to just have more questions.
