Masoom ia actually a relationship drama masquerading a mystery whodunnit! It's a narrative exploring complex family dynamics. It uses all the classical elements of storytelling- the sudden death of a family member, the return of the prodigal daughter, family secrets that tumble out over dinner, but during all this, the inherent intrigue of a murder mystery is very well maintained. It lends Masoom a very fresh narrative structure! Overall a must watch that will not disappoint.
