Movie is a good western trying to get out. There's little to recommend. Shot on video which is a big negative, the story of a sheriff hunting down those who raped and murdered his pregnant wife (terrible effects at the beginning of the movie), is far from original and this has no new twists. The acting is mostly amateurish at best, though the scenery is beautiful. It's done on the cheap and the lead has zero charisma. Direction is pedestrian at best. It's too long for its material. John Savage is the high point of this dull movie.
