Pretty much everything in could have asked for in Star Wars. Exhilarating action, fantastic lightsaber dueling, genuinely sad moments, legit character development, and a few twists and turns I actually didn't see coming.
While a handful of the deaths in this episode happen off-screen, it's still pretty violent to think about. I always thought some of the biggest horrors are those we can't see, what's up for interruption. This makes all of Maul's murdering more sinister. And awesome. He made a great addition to this two-parter, and I'm sure I'll be seeing more of him soonish.
Darth Vader and Ahsoka's reunion was shocking and upsetting. I thought it was executed in the best way possible, although I'm a little shocked to hear the two of them may not be in much of the show after this!
Best of all, this finale leaves many questions open. How many more inquisitors are there? How is a blind Kanan (which is awesome by the way) suppose to train Ezra? Where tf did Ahsoka go?
Long story short, this was a great finale and an awesome piece of Star Wars.
