Seldom have the first one or two episodes of a new show hit the ball so convincingly out of the park and so far down the road.
This show reminds us that some of the very best creatives are working in TV and that there's nothing stopping TV from having cinematic moments - lots of them.
'Hooked' is probably a fair descriptor of my viewing state right now - enjoying every minute of 'The Man Who Fell to Earth' unfolding.
Update: Now that the series is complete a few things to add. Episode 6 was really something - a poetic take on humanity offering some serious insight.
This is extraordinary TV - calling it TV doesn't even seem to do it justice - it oozes top shelf movie quality from start to finish.
I'd go so far as to say that this is an exceptional Sci-Fi drama - it's also the first and probably last show I'll ever give a 10 to, but this deserves it.
