"Oh thank you! So like yeah"
"Like no yeah so like how are yooou?"
"Yeah like good actually yeah"

"Yeah, so like did you hear what X said to X the other night?"
"Oh my god no, so what happened?"

There's something undeniably compelling about all this drivel, particularly the character Alex who has some deep insecurities manifesting in the most bitchy and drama-worthy way (the others are cringe-inducing for how they bury them in denial and delusion). But the contrivances are soon obvious, particularly when gossip from a girl who doesn't know anyone miraculously reaches another girl she has no degrees of separation with at all (except a bunch of helpful producers, keenly and obviously trying to propel the drama).
