Short beautiful story about Peter Pan. Now having actually never seen this movie before, I got to it today and really thoroughly enjoyed it. The short length of these classic Disney movies always surprise me but it keeps the pace up very well because of it. Like other classics this just has those magical scenes combined with the music that show why it's so brilliant. The animation is of course top notch. Though I found that the editing was rough in some places, especially how the final battle wraps up and how peter pan wins. It's mostly rough in the form of cutting a bit too fast without enough information.

The music is enchanting and... the sound effects for all the little movements and animations, I forgot how fun that makes the viewing experience. It's excellent. The movie doesn't really have a emotional core for me though, it really is a adventure with Peter Pan and it doesn't stray further from that. I loved Tinkerbell and the jealousy, it was a fun element and much needed conflict, though underdeveloped I guess.

The voice acting is great, notably Hook and Wendy I really enjoyed listening to. The art is stunning, the views of London and simply the view of the house in the intro, how everything is lit and shaded, it looks great. Onto the island itself it felt a bit more simple and forgettable visually. But of course the pirate ship is stunning. Enjoyed it, still great to this day, no doubt.
