Romance mystery - repeats
26 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is a bit of everything and sometimes nothing in a drama. It has some mystery and then some bonding and then some romance and finally the mystery solved. But not quite the perfect drama. It has plot holes some scenes were not logical and way too much flashbacks.

Spoiler Alert: Ji Eun Soo is accused of killing here husband sent to prison and her daughter is adopted. She is released and finds here daughter. But the good story starts to go downhill form there. Scenes with the mother and daughter are truly amazing and heart warming. Scenes with the adopted father (reporter) was really awkward with his fake smiles and fake nods that was creepy at all times. The writers tried to introduce a romance but failed in their attempts to be convincing. Then the mother in law so seems to be able to do anything as she has power to do so is not truly revealed until the final episodes.

In all too many flashbacks and way too many silent scenes in which nothing is added to the show. I watched all of the episodes but for a new viewer watch eps 1&2 and skip to eps 8 and you won't have missed much. A thriller that fails at romance because the main characters were not compatible, and an ending that took too long to unravel.

Supporting casts that are screaming most of the time and a long lost friend as usual in K dramas.
