Some aspects of the story were okay and the acting was pretty good. However, even at only a 90 minute run time, the movie seemed to drag on slowly. Some parts made me chuckle at how goofy they were, but I wouldn't even recommend this movie as a 'so bad it's funny' type of film. All in all, I'd say it would serve as decent background noise.
SPOILERS; Nearing the climax of the movie, the main antagonist is revealed to be the elderly woman introduced early on. The first person she attacked; she snuck up on with a sledge hammer and so it was understandable. However, she then goes on to "chase" down the (20+ year old) young man. Never once does the man try to defend himself. That was bad enough, but then the old lady begins to drag this man with one arm by his hair.
It was already difficult to perceive this old woman as a threat, but it became comical when she targeted the young man. If the man was maybe 10 years younger, it could maybe pass as believable. But alas, the young man didn't fight back in any way and instead allowed the old woman to do whatever she wanted. It looked goofy and took me out of the climax of the movie.
