I enjoyed this movie, the characters were likable and even though it's a very simple movie, no complicated plot twists that's for sure, it was quite charming and fun to watch.
It's more like a fairy tale rather than some grand fantasy adventure and works well as such.. I feel that lots of the negative reviews wanted this movie to be something it isn't...it's not a lord of the Rings type movie for sure so if you want such a type of movie you will be disappointed.
