This first of the numerous Abbot & Costello films is actually one in which they only play supporting roles. It can certainly be said that these supporting roles are the bearers of the humorous moment of this film. But also in and of itself this crazy little romantic comedy is very nice to watch, with good songs and a good dose of charm. The conversations are clever, the acting is appropriate, and the direction is simple and skillful. All in all, not a masterpiece, but a really nice film that you can simply enjoy without any annoyance. A good start and the beginning of a great comedic legacy.
