Police Story was always a great show because of the factual storylines from the creator Joseph Wambaugh, a real LAPD cop. I was a teenager when it aired. Watching it now, as an older man with many years in law enforcement, I do notice the casting was somewhat strange. Many of the actors play cops who is some cases have less than 10 years in but the actor is in their mid 40s. Sometimes and actor in their 50s would be playing a uniform office with only 2 hash marks. Just those little technical things I now notice.
