Tricky subjects like Hypnosis deserves far better.
I'm not suggesting the film is utter terrible (although It was this close to being one); However, I do want to touch upon the aspects where it did go wrong!
To begin with, the storyline is pretty generic. In all honesty; it is extremely predictable and clichéd! Now, I don't normally detest predictable tales if only the execution itself is exciting enough! Sadly, that's not the case with this one either.
The main issue lies in its fundamental structure; for which, it was incapable of delivering even with one of the most fascinating concepts possible! The characters are vaguely compiled, the narrative wasn't bold enough to take some premeditated risks and most importantly the film holistically ceases to function and fails to provide anything substantial on the said premise!
It appears as if; everything has been kept at a bare minimum. So I guess it would only be fair If I too keep my ratings at a bare minimum here.
