'Vanam' means forest which is the soul concept of this movie. Starts slowly in its own way unlike the fast paced movies now a days but the plot will take you into the flow like a cake walk. This is not a heroic movie or super hero fantasy thriller. The script is the hero of this movie and many characters have vital role to play as the story builds up. The artistic interest is carried out throughout the movie by director Srikantan Anand by showing eye-catching articles, monuments, antique materials, sculptures, paintings etc. The Veena bgm during the periodic parts will give you both horrific and divine experience. This is one film where I experienced goosebumps in the climax scene where the character's acting, camera work and background score together will give you an extodinary encounter. The best part of the movie is when the plot slowly unties the truth and the final part will keep you hooked up. Anu Sitara was so beautiful as a village head girl and both Vela ramamoorthy and Azhagam Perumal have played their part very well. Cinematography is outstanding and will give you spine chilling moments as well as breezy cool touch with scenic views. A perfect watch for the monsoon to feel the forest effect. Good luck team👍
