So, having only heard/seen bits & pieces of this film & its sequel, I went to give this a watch on Netflix when scrolling through the titles on the App.
The film sees Ace Ventura, a pet detective who recovers kidnapped animals & reunites them with their original owners. But it is then he is tasked to recover the Miami Dolphins Mascot before Superbowl Sunday. Hired by "Snowflake" Melissa, Ace goes in search for the Dolphin but does so with comical results.
I found the film to be quite good! It's funny, quirky, comical & bizarre in so many levels! It's pretty fast paced & has a runtime of 1 hour & 22 minutes! The story-line while not amazing & a little straight forward & lacking in any twists is alright & the funny moment with Jim Carrey's character make up for this! There's some pretty raunchy moments & some eye candy also, not to mention some funny one liners from Carrey!
Overall, it's a good film! Don't expect too much, but enjoy it for what it is! A funny comedy with some comical raunchy moment in it!
