Andra Day delivered a strong performance as Billie Holiday each time she is on the screen she don't have nothing holding her back.
However one thing that I feel the overdue of sex scenes really does take away the movie as there are too many sex scenes.
The movie also shows how drugs and personal demons are dangerous as the movie shows Billie's drug addiction was strong. There is a lot of drug use in the movie.
But that can't stop you from watching the movie as it is emotional driven with a lot of sad moments and moments where you have to hold back with some of the most depressing scenes in the history of Motion Pictures.
If you like to watch a movie about Billie Holiday then this one is going to keep your attention.
