7/10
Much better than the last one, but keep some flaws.

Warning: Spoilers
This one start with a jump in time, previous hockey season is done and they are already in the next one. Yet the time jump does not seem enough to match with the kids growing up once again. This is especially visible with Macha who is getting hotter and hotter as she grow up. When you think about it there is only maybe what 2 years and a half between Season 4 and Season 6 but in real life there was actually 4 years that pass. She goes from little kid to teen kinda too quick in my opinion and altough i can't find the actress official age, she is supose to be 14 in this one but she looks 16-17 at least. We don't see her too much tough so i guess its not a huge deal.

Once again we have to deal with a very bad recasting, not because the new actress playing Michelle Beliveau is not good, but because she look nothing like Maxime Roy and play the character so differently. There ain't a ton of focuss on her tough so again this could pass.

In term of character's personality change, we see quite a few. The worst one in my opinion is Valerie Nantel. She was very calculating and manipulative last season, always being in the league with 3 steps above anyone. In this one they give her some arc with her father and i felt it didn't work at all. There is a big story involving Annie (Still played by Veronique Bannon after last season recast) and her father, and even tough the payoff is satisfying in term of revenge (wich is the title of this season), it was just a way too drastic change in her character.

Its also typical with shows to have new characters come and others go, but the new Radio host of CHAU seem to pop out of nowhere despite having a huge place this season. He has such a grudge with hockey players especially Marc yet we never heard of him before?

The story arc around Guy was fine, he accidentaly kill a guy during his first game with the team and its something that could very well happen in real life, and i actually remember when i watched it live back then how i was in love with the character of Nadia played by Valerie Chevalier who becomes his love interest, i was so jealous of him.... haha.

There is also many different arcs with different characters and overall i just feel this season was more compeling than the one before, despite being once again inconsistent with the characters persona, mainly Valerie, but also Francois Petel, wich was a nice guy before but becomes such an a**hole in this one. That said you also see Pierre dump him for what i taught was a bad reason, especially after sticking with Ladouceur who has been a much bigger trouble maker since coming with the team at the same time.

The best part tough is by the end Quebec actually win the Stanley Cup this time, wich is cool, but don't expect a big parcours, it goes super fast, they barely jump from before the playoffs to the last game in one episode.

I almost forgot to mention... sadly Paul Buisson who played Bouboule the team medical staff passed away in real life, and instead of recasting him like they did for many others, they simply write him off and made a new character wich once again will be involved with another one of the main cast.

I understand that when it comes to tv shows like that, they need to have the characters go trough something otherwise it would not work, but at times i feel some of the stuff is just forced and do not feel organic. But that said it still interested me to watch rather quick til the end and i will jump on season 7 pretty soon so i supose mission acomplished?
