The name Psycho Goreman will be around for years
12 August 2021
When brother and sister Luke (Owen Myer) and Mimi (Nita-Josee Hanna) finish another round of Crazy Ball, they stumble on a gem and resurrect The Archduke of Nightmares....or Psycho Goreman, PG for short. With the ancient evil ready to bring destruction, his plans are haunted once Mimi realizes possessing the gem makes her complete control over their new found friend.

As a big fan of practical effects, I loved what they did here. The design of the titular character is top notch, even his disguise to blend in. Of the small budget, you can see they put the most into the effects. I really got behind Luke during this film, Owen Myre was fantastic and appears to have a bright future ahead of him.

With a small budget, and most going towards the practical effects, it really shows in other areas. As much as I loved the creature design, some looked one dimensional and were made to have no movement. Besides Luke and PG, none of the other characters landed with me.

This is a fun little action packed gore-fest. It will please any fan of creature features and those looking to have an inter dimensional throw down. The likeness of Psycho Goreman himself will be around for years to come.
