What a sweet story this is. The animation is fine, the character design is a bit unusual, but the movie delivers. It's a simple straight story that takes you from A to B, but very much like LUCA it's a story about the love of a country - in this case Cuba - and making you feel happy. Since this is also a musical, it's packed with songs. I loved them all and so did my 8-year old. So, Netflix delivered. I am not a big fan of a rapping Lin-Manuel Miranda, but within this story it fits and it's very pleasing to the ears. I am hoping for more movies like this. We need more positivity in the world.
