The Prodigal Son is regarded by many as the greatest martial arts film of all time, although its not my the best one for me, its certainly very high on the list.
Big hitters Yuen Biao, Lam Ching Ying and Sammo Hung all star, as well as a proper martial arts turn from Frankie Chan.
As was typical of these films, it mixes knockabout comedy with some very serious and deadly scenes, but as ever it works.
First rate martial arts film.
Do try and watch the subtitled version, i watched the english dubbed version and found it lost quite a lot for it.
