This was the first film my daughter and I went to see together. We don't know the Netflix series so it was new to us. Story is pleasant, songs are uplifting, nice message for girls to be independent and value of friendship. She's 3 and a half and paid attention until the last 10/15 mins. It's not the best film ever but I had a good time with her and we had lots to talk about after. Or you could watch the series together at home.
