The animation is done wonderfully, however the plot and the characters mostly feel completely soulless and their dynamics are pretty much destroyed. Also ofcourse the elephant in the room, the main protagonist(Adam) of the real series is completely sidelined to the point he isn't really a part of the series anymore.
But what is to be expected of someone who said: "I have no love for He-Man either, but he has a place in the world, in the comicbookstories" only to later say(or rather lie) "When I was a kid I watched He-Man when came home from school, from 1981 to 1982" despite the series not even existing yet at that time only airing from 1983 onwards.
Shame on you Smith, shame on you for producing crap, shame on you for constantly lying.
