Final Voyage (2019)
5/10
Almost has the winning combination

Warning: Spoilers
The characters were annoyingly distant and terrible at communication. Whomever wrote the story was close to something good but it seems like they have never actually talked to a human being before. There's lots of long pauses, characters ignoring questions, not asking questions, not making valid arguments to their purpose, not compromising on their wants, all kinds of strange behaviour. I suppose it could be because they're damaged by a tortured life, but it swings from sanity to insanity constantly. I wouldn't want to be on a ship with either of them. They're too weird. I wouldn't even want to go on a road trip with them. I'd rather walk.

The ending was a bit loopy. What happened to that guy on the golden planet. I'm not the brightest spark but even I could tell it was inhospitable. They can't survive there. He should have accepted it was a dead end and tried the other guys plan. Simply stating that he wanted to check it out, and if there was nothing there they could move on to plan B. But instead, I gather he lost his marbles and called it a day. Not a logical choice, he still had other options.

That said though, I think it brings home a good 5/10 because it kept me curious and the sets, costumes and acting were excellent. It's memorable and almost has the winning combination of story, art and mystery.
