Caveat (2020)
6/10
Some very tense moments

Warning: Spoilers
So here is a movie with some very suspenseful moments. A man with memory loss is brought to a remote island to watch over a friend's niece. As it unravels, you learn that there was a murder conspiracy involving locking the niece's father in a basement until he commit suicide from the anxiety of claustrophobia. The main character was in on the plot, but the uncle pushed him off a building, which caused the memory problems. So it is weird with twists and turns, and it involves being strapped to a harness in a house where something else might be going on. By far the most memorable moments were in the basement when we see the murdered mother. There is a sequence where the main character has to crawl into the wallspace where the mother's corpse has been hidden that was very tense for me. I was fine with the ending--the uncle gets trapped in the basement with the reanimated mother while the main character walks free. There are also some sequences with a toy rabbit that taps a drum when something comes near. I thought this was just slightly above average and worth a watch.
