I think, it is not the intention of the movie maker to enjoy the movie whilst watching it. It's kind of a depressive movie with some horror elements. In my opinion, the story is about, what christians consider as the purgatory. If you watch it, it feels like being right there. Which is not a pleasant experience. The entire movie I thought this is like The Cube movies, but no, there are scenes that indicate a supernatural background.
The lead actor speaks english and french sometimes. But that's not a problem. Because there is only her, and 3 side roles. And there is not a lot of talking.
