Review of Panic

Panic (2021)
10/10
As deeply satisfying as binge eating a bag of cheetos

Am I ever going to admit to anyone irl that I watched this show? Never. And yet, much like midnight nachos, day drinking, and watching YouTube while pretending to work.... this satisfied my very deep need to rebel in a very small, barely noticeable way. Has my brain atrophied during this viewing of ten hours of vapid TV? Oh yes. But sometimes we need to shut our brains off and reboot. Consider Panic a full system uninstall.

The friends are catty. The plot is like playing sudoku while drunk (I won't spoil it, but there is a tiger involved). The love interests are hot as hell and don't worry - there's a charismatic bad boy. There's enough adrenalin to keep you awake, but not enough to be genuinely disturbing or raise any existential questions. If you think about what comes next, the storyline might be predictable, but... you didn't come here to think.

Make some popcorn, grab your beverage of choice, and settle in. This is cheesy TV at its finest.
