When I first read "Godzilla" in the title, I thought "On no, another money making scheme trying to piggy back off of an established franchise for a bunch of plotless action sequences to appease the brainless viewer." Was I wrong.
The dive into theoretical physics throughout the show kept me entertained along with the great anime style that takes you back to the classics in the 80's (minus the cgi kaiju). There was actually a good back story that dove into explaining this realm of the kaiju, instead of lazily trying to rely on the distraction of large monster fights to cover up a lack of talent in writing.
I finished the first season in two days. You get hooked, if you have enough base knowledge to follow the discussion on quantum mechanics.
I am hoping to see a season 2.
