Basic continuity errors throughout the movie. One of the characters in the movie runs around with a smartphone clearly visible in his trouser pocket (in 1993). Pretty vague depiction of space and time continuum. One of the lead actors calculates current speed of the vehicle by using a formula (square root of 2fs/m), wonder how she came up with it. I am still scratching my head over it. Lead actor traces a car's location with the help of cctv footage and google maps(without actually knowing the car's registration number), unless of course the car had been bugged with a gps tracker and the route appears on a monitor which is only displaying a map view of the city.
No the movie is not a remake and the actors are amateurs. Still if a common man like me spotted these errors then clearly the movie needs a lot of work. At the end it felt like a movie where the director lost interest midway through the film.
