Avwanchhit : A story that has potential to touch you emotionally. A father-son relationship caught in the web of helplessness is very interestingly and subtly projected on the canvas by the director Subho Nag in his debut film 'Avwanchhit'. A soothing background score accompany you throughout the film in different mood and depth. The acting stays natural by the entire cast. Not 1 inch gone overboard. The father son duo scene that impressed me the most was a well written dialogue where the son says " it took a 22 year old scotch whisky to facilitate a 21 year old pain to come out and express itself". The city Calcutta is beautifully captured by someone who knows its nuances to a T.
A Marathi film set in Bengal looks like the director taking an opportunity to thank these two great states and it's people who have given so much to Indian Films.
A good, clean film with a sincere effort and intention. Watch it to feel it.
