The Saint: Luella (1964)
Season 2, Episode 19

Totally different and that's the special plus

I completely disagree with the reviewer from 9th February 2021.

This episode was almost insane, totally different and with great performances.

YES, if you except a straight forward mystery and seriousness, this is not for you, but come on, THE SAINT had 117 episodes, so of course there also can be comedy episodes like this one.

David Hedison is the jolly fool in it, but very likeable (the scene with the two doors as he doesn't want that his wife gets out).

Then we have two beautiful Lloyds in it. SUZANNE Lloyd who appeared in six episodes of THE SAINT and Sue (here as Susan) Lloyd as seductive title character "Luella" wo played in two episodes and who was a very familiar face on british TV (she also played with Michael Caine in "The Ipcress File").

Last but not least Simon disguising himself as Samuel P. Taggart, absolutely joyful performance.

This is obviously more comedy, but never boring, with great cast and performances (especially Moore as Taggart, Hedison and sexy Luella Sue Lloyd).
