I have read a few unfavourable reviews of this movie, all of which appear to be written by wannabes who didn't get the part.....or the point. I suppose it is easy to criticise other people's hard work from behind an anonymous keyboard. Better luck next time lads !
I really enjoyed this film which set out to be a gangster geezer movie and achieved that aim admirably. The plot was interesting and unpredictable and retained the viewers interest to the end. Lead by the incomparable talents of Billy Murray, the movie powered its way through to a rewarding conclusion.
So, this movie, is not The Godfather, but it never pretends to be so. It is a good honest British gangster movie......well done sir !
