Out of the last three episodes, « Muse to my ears » is the one I prefer. It's still a very forgettable episode, but unlike « Brain Drain » which couldn't/wouldn't keep the suspense longer, and « Black As Cole », it manages to grab your attention throughout. « A Paige from the past » gave Rose McGowan her moment to shine, and she did all the way. It's a real tear jerker, in which we see how good she could be at acting in more dramatic scenes. It's not exactly a filler either, because that's where we know more about her character and her backstory. Unfortunately, the watered down way the network decided to go with this season, still interferes with the intensity of some of her scenes. And the fact that they mixed 1994 with 1998, with that Bride of Chucky doll, is a little off putting... Phoebe and Cole being possessed by Bonnie and Clyde type characters, was a fine sub plot as well. And a way to make things even more exciting for us viewers.
