A poetic and dramatic circle of life
24 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
After a moment in total darkness, surrounded by loud noises, a man wakes up outside, in the sunlight, in free fall.

Passed the initial surprise, he quickly starts gathering pieces of an airplane to build... something, He soon sees an unconscious young woman also in free fall, and wakes her up, connect them via a seatbelt and shows her how to gather the pieces. Together, they are building a pod. Piece by piece. At the beginning, they are in sunlight, above the cloud, everything is beautiful. Then they fall through the clouds, and towards the ground as things go darker around them. As the "pod" is complete, the man puts the young woman inside, and disconnect the belt. After one last look, he closes the "door" of the pod.

In the dark, the woman hears a shock and the pod starts flying again towards the sky. Inside the darkness of the pod, and surrounded by loud noises, the woman loses consciousness. The pod rises above the clouds, into the sunlight, then breaks into pieces. The woman wakes up in the sunlight, in free fall.

And the circle of life begins again.

Through these symbolic actions, you can understand it as the cycle: birth, life, building something, bringing a child to life, teaching the child to build something, making sure the child is safe and can survive, letting go as death approahes, letting the child starts her own cycle.

Very powerful :)
