As a Brit, this reeks of The Day Today & Brass Eye, basically anything from Chris Morris, surely this was inspired by them, they all came before Newsreaders & are rather sharper & tighter; this is OK, but it's been done much better, even the wonderful 'Mike Powers' from 'Reno 911' isn't enough to save it.
