I used to frustrated with Ms. Mitchell. I would yell at the TV and shudder with disagreement.
Over the long-term, however, I have gained an appreciation for her keen sense of the touch-points that propel politics in one direction or the other. She is always several steps ahead of the general public with regard to key political decisions, and "reaches back" with a proverbial "helping-hand" to help viewers gain a better view of what is actually going on. Washington politics and world affairs can be very confusing. Nonetheless Ms. Mitchell is unusually well equipped, informed and prepared to offer clarity and emphasize what matters, why, and what each development or decision means to each of us in our daily lives.
It doesn't matter if one agrees or disagrees with Ms. Mitchell. What matters is whether or not a viewer is open-minded enough and mature enough to accept the experienced perspective that Ms. Mitchell offers to everyone equally, and what we choose to do with that information. For anyone interested in current events, Andrea Mitchell would be one essential resource necessary to form a realistic understanding of American Politics. Plus, she never engages in hyperbole:))
