Based on the number of favorable reviews, this film clearly has an audience so kudos to Hancock for reaching that audience. From beginning to end, every character was illogically melodramatic. The plot is loosely structured. There was no character development. There is no empathy for the characters; not even the victims. It has a good cast and good cinematography. But that cannot make up for bad writing.
