I love this show but michael sheen's persona and accent, I guess as a midwesterner is exceedingly annoying. It sounds like he's channeling gerard butler playing a new yorker, or pittsburghian. . Why is it annoying? Well, for one, it's because they sound almost identical but I can't remember the movie that gerard butler was in and did with the same affect. btw, butler is from scotland and sheen is from wales. I don't know where they got their impersonation from.
