Nifty little supernatural mystery thriller
25 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Young man Josh (a fine and likeable performance by Joseph Sentance) finds himself being haunted by the ghost of a beautiful woman (exquisitely embodied by the lovely Kate Young) who died in 1850. Josh must figure out the truth about said ghost before it's too late.

Director Robert Young relates the compelling story at a steady pace, ably crafts a beautifully brooding spooky'n'melancholy atmosphere, and makes good use of both the old ship setting and surrounding woodland scenery. The thoughtful script by Hugh Janes nicely explores the themes of obsession and the need for closure. The solid acting by the capable cast rates as another major asset: Sheena May as the sweet Alex, Fawn Jones as the concerned Catherine, Lizzie Stables as pushy, but smitten boss Louise, James Kennan as the hearty Garth, and Patrick Rohmer as a helpful vicar. Well worth a watch.
