Cabin Fever is a movie about five friends that rent a cabin on a body of water in some Podunk town where the locals are all a bit on the eccentric side, to be polite. On their first night a diseased man tries to enter the cabin and when denied entry tries to steal their car. They force him to leave through violence, but before long the members of the group start showing signs that they too have the disease.
I saw the original forever ago when it first came out and pretty much forgot about it. Going through Netflix, I saw this and decided to watch it. It was pretty close to a shot for shot copy of the first film, but I must say that the special effects were better. If you are not someone that is part of the cult that loves the original and have not seen that one for years, then this one will not disappoint you. Pretty solid horror movie here.
