Enjoyable though not always logical

Warning: Spoilers
For those preferring an unbiased and honest review, here it goes; I'll start with the positive aspects of the series: it's fun, it's worth watching at least once as it gives a parallel story to the Jurassic World movie, it has great visuals as expected from DreamWorks animation, and also the background score is fantastic, if you feel the tension in the series, it's because of the immersive visuals and music, mute them out and this could pass on as laughable, character development is impressive as is the overall direction of the plot as it gives an alternate version to the events which simultaneously were happening, except there's a new competitor to Hammond / InGen corporations wanting to get their hands on Dino DNA.

Now here's the list of things which went wrong; the series should have been named Jurassic World: Invincible Kids, because no matter the odds, danger or even possible death scenarios, they come back ever more powerful than Harry Potter did in Deathly Hallows 2. The kids also have a natural immunity towards dinosaurs who eat everyone else without remorse or from falling from heights that would kill even Glass from The Revenant. The point where Ben was shown to have fallen to his death was realistic but at the end we're shown he hasn't really passed on yet. All of this indicates bad scripting, lots of plot holes. Now every Jurassic Park/World series had its share of plot holes and convenient survival of protagonists, but most of them could be explained better than Camp Cretaceous' bestowal of invincibility on kids. Indominus Rex in this movie is pretty dumb and cannot even detect the kids by smell or heat sensing as portrayed in the movie. Even the game shown at the beginning of episode 1 is rigged as it shows the T-Rex being slower than a running kid (exact opposite of what is portrayed in original Jurassic Park 1 movie) and the raptors being dumb enough to let the kid survive for no reason while killing the older guy.

Overall it's a great series if you're a kid or if you watch this without really watching the Jurassic Park series multiple times like I did.
