If the episode features such a big focus on Kimiki, I'd like to know what her and her brother Kenji are _saying_. Yes, having her sign and him speak in a non-American language is a cute directorial/writing touch. But don't do it at the expense of storytelling, folks.
The rest of the episode was okay. It basically set up this season's quest: Billy trying to get Becca back, and Homelander being a creepy psychopath. It seems mildly shortsighted of Billy to not anticipate that Becca went into hiding for a reason. But Billy ain't the most long-sighted guy in the world, either.
So far, it's not clear why Vought lets Stormfront bad mouth them. Then again, she doesn't seem to criticize them much, either. We'll find out more about Stormfront in episode 3, but right now her loyalties are unclear.
But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. What do you think?
