The acting isn't bad, but there's no plot to speak of and a tired, overused and improbable premise. Along with the 100% predictable Dystopian future (global warming of course) with a post war dystopia and PTSD in the main character. It's complete drek but any movie with a human-caused apocalypse is bound to get hype (and money). This is the worst of many like it.
On the other hand, if you believe the global warming apocalypse is coming, you might live the (too) dark sets and squalor. Personally, I'm waiting for "Inconvenient Truth" to be re-released as a comedy and listen to the audiences roar with laughter at the predictions (like hurricanes and 30' of water in NYC by 2010).
