A day in a country was a very good french short film and i think that director in a very short time was able to create a good story and put it in 38 minutes,making short films expecely in that days was even perhaps harder then making normal ones,and that is not only becase of runtime but also cause you have to interduce characters and make them likeable and that we can relate to them,also use of location was very pretty and nature and its visuals and even descriptions of them was great,day in a country was one of best short films i saw,and it shows how people back then were able to do staff,that now days woudnt work and they would fail
