Trippy and weird until you get it
4 June 2020
So I'm a big fan of animation and I stumbled upon this short series- needless to say, after the first 3 min episode I was so confused. Out of nowhere I blurted "Wtf did I just watch!?" but I couldn't stop watching it because of how weird it was. Than after the second 3 min episode, I started to get the point. It's about black people and the toxicity of daytime talk shows exploiting "hood America" for views. And Daytime talk show hosts like Springer and Maury know they can get rich off black people actin fools on TV without doing anything or having anyone call them out because black people need money and will put their family on "Trash TV" to get some sort of income or fame to nudge their family into some sort of economic freedom. Once you keep past how trippy and odd the animation and audio is, you can and should appreciate the message of what the creator is trying to send. Also, If you look closely and analyze all the symbolism in the scene setting, you will realize a lot of thought was actually put into it. Props to the creator for being so original.
