This film took a slight surrealist approach. It is inspired by David Lynch movies as shown by an obvious easter egg. Hence, logically it followed an outlandish way of revealing the main character's life through a sequence of seemingly uncorrelated events. As the movie progresses, it starts to make sense. This is clearly a good thing, though my critique is, it doesn't go far in terms of riddling the viewer because at the end, everything is answered leaving no room for 'connecting the dots'.
The cinematic direction, subtlety, background set up, use of symbolism and even sound tracks pale in comparison to a movie like Cake. But it is decent for what it is.
