A Pauly Shore movie

Warning: Spoilers
I have to admit that any Pauly Shore movie is a Pauly Shore movie. Here he plays the son of a mob boss framed for murder. Flees and ends up in a small Tennessee town where the movie plays out. I find it somewhat of another "Son-in-law" where he starts out the outcast/misfit and ends up being a popular guy. Pauly Shore however is Starting to get too old to play geeky/nerdy characters and needs to branch out and expand his craft. Tanya Tucker (country music singer) does add a bit of charm to a somewhat boring script that needlessly begs for your attention. It somehow does work as a satire with John Schneider playing a dimwitted sheriff. In all I did enjoy the movie but I started out not expecting much from it. With that said if you do watch it don't expect a masterpiece, it's really nothing more than a feel good movie with interesting characters. To be honest I only watched it for Tanya Tucker and ended up liking the movie which was made for the CMT channel.
