Warning: Spoilers
A man called Cetin is having a relationship with a superb blonde called Sara. The house they're living in becomes a scene for things going bump in the night : strange noises and tremors disturb their rest. At the same time, the police is worrying about the fate of Cetin's earlier lover, who seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth...

I gather this is a remake of "La cara oculta" (The hidden face), but I might be wrong here. I never watched "La cara", so I went in without ballast.

I'm glad I watched the movie, since it's a cunning, twisty thriller told with many a clever flashback and flashforward. The subject matter treats themes of love, envy and jealousy. In its own way it's also a dark satire plus cautionary tale about sleek, modern, prosperous people who lead sleek, modern, prosperous lives and still have troublesome flaws and dangerous failings.

All three protagonists do well and the result is very watchable indeed. (It's a bit of a pity that the police inspector, an interesting character, disappeared out of the plot. I would have liked to see more of him.)
