63 up caught up with the children once again after 7 years of life. In this film, we don't see lots of changes but in age and sometimes in regrets being professed. The question give a child unil he is 7 and I will give you the man is once again being contemplated by the 63 year old children who are thinking of what all this film was all about. Some of the kids actually followed an expected course that the 7 year old drew but others were struck by the cruelty of life and the helplessness with which their aspirations had drowned. It is interesting to see one regretting not having spent much time with family and scoffing at the young man who thought that was trying to prove himself by giving himself completely to work. Someonelse, thought that he actually made the best decisions he could ever have made, and another was making himself accept things when he fell extremely ill. The most happy of them all,it appears was the one with the most children and grandchildren. It seems that family as cliched as it is, is really all what matters in the long run. Watching the show, you also can see the how complex and unpredictable relationships can be, not to mention how they can start. That liberal Democrat's story that lingered at the end was one of the most heartbreaking. This guy had other plans for his life that this life in which he lived didn't seem to agree with. A simple man with a simple life. Those who felt that they were fortunate enough and took it upon themselves to help the unfortunate was inspiring. I don't really agree with that 7 years old child man premise. A 7 year old,if received optimal environment and education would prosper beyond doubt.
