I'm glad it wasn't just a jump scare movie. The fact that this movie subtly showed the benefits of medicinal marijuana with Wills character, showed they were trying to get something across this time.
Usually "scary movies" are purely for kills and scaring the audience...but I was very happy to see there was some sort of story line. It's a relatable movie in several ways, broken families, friendship, struggles at work. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to shed light on this teams better project. I watched Beneath the Leaves because of Paul Sorvino, and was very disappointed he wasn't in it as much as advertised (Much like Lou Ferrigno, in Ring Ring. Sigh)
All in all.....
This was a good movie. It kept me entertained.
Looking forward to what's next.
